Comfort
The kennels are indoor and completely air conditioned and heated. The kennel is kept at a temperature between 60 and 85 degrees
Fahrenheit. Kuranda beds are provided in each kennel to allow a comfortable place for your dog to rest. You can also bring your pet's favorite bedding from home. Solid partitions divide each kennel, making your dog feel more secure in his area and his neighbor's water/food or pee doesn't soil his area. A de-humidifier and ventilation fan keeps the air clean and comfortably dry.
Feel free to bring your pet's favorite toys, treats, and food.
Attention: The Ranch highly recommends that you bring your pets food, sudden changes of a pet's diet can lead to digestive problems, stress and loss of appetite. Your pet will be more comfortable eating his own food. Pets on medication are no extra charge.
Playtime and Entertainment
Television is provided indoors for the kennel guests. Human voices and music tend to calm our guests and make them feel more at home.
Large grassy yards allow for plenty of room for a running, playing and a potty break. Yards are cleaned everyday and disinfected on a regular basis. Fences over 5 ft tall surround the perimeter of the kennel yard. Dogs are allowed playtime in large grassy play yards with plenty of toys and human interaction. Our playgroups are divided into groups of six dogs or less. Dogs are divided up according to their activity level and tolerance for other dogs. Dog's that are aggressive, extremely shy, or not spayed/neutered over the age of 6 months are not suited for our playgroups and will have exercise time
separately.
There is no extra charge for your dog to be involved in the playgroups. Games include fetch, tug-a-war, chase, etc. Pet boarding care is not only about housing your pet, it is about making him/her happy. All pets are given exercise, walks, pats on the head, and extra care. Your pets are guests at Animal Ranch Resort!!!!
Although with all this playtime, your dog might need a bath before he goes home. Our grooming salon can provide this service during his stay or before you pick him
up.
Resident Security
Since we live on site, you can be rest assured that your dog is not left alone at night and has plenty of interaction during the day. In case of emergencies, a vet is just a phone call away. But please, respect our home and our hours.
Hours of Operation
We are open a full day for pet boarding from 8am-6pm on weekdays, 8am-1pm on Saturdays and from 5pm-6pm on Sunday and holidays. If you can not pick up or drop off your pet within these hours then please either drop off the day before or pick up the day after.
We are closed all day on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and New Years Day or otherwise posted. These holidays are our busiest time of the year and you can be rest assured that your dog will be well taken care of.
Grooming and bathing is by appointment only. We like our grooming clients to come in at 9am and usually can be picked up by 4pm. We do a limited amount of grooming so that detailed attention can be given to each pet.
